The Arcadia Educational Foundation

The Arcadia Educational Foundation is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1981, largely in response to substantially reduced federal and state funding for California public schools. The foundation’s purpose is to raise funds for the District and is administered by parent and community member Trustees who represent the interests of each of Arcadia’s 11 public schools. THANK YOU FOR SUBMITTING YOUR MINI-GRANT APPLICATIONS

We are excited to inform that we received overwhelming number of mini-grant applications this year. The deadline to submit the applications was on January 17, 2018. All applications will be reviewed by AUSD and the AEF Mini-Grant Committee, and the winners will be announced on March 15, 2018. Stay tuned!

IMPORTANT REMINDER: THE MINI-GRANT APPLICATION DEADLINE IS ON JANUARY 17, 2018

There are just a few more days left for the mini-grant application submissions. Please submit all application forms by Wednesday, January 17, 2018. Winners will be announced on Thursday, March 15, 2018. The application forms are available through school sites and on AEF website.

PARTICIPATE IN AEF’S YEAR-END GIVING DRIVE AND HELP US MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN OUR SCHOOLS

AEF’s Year-End Giving Drive is happening now through December 31st. Your contributions will support AEF Programs such as the Mini-Grant Program, the Scrip Program, the Naviance Program, the District Messaging System, and other AUSD Programs like School Counselors.

AEF raises funds to help preserve, maintain, and improve educational programs and facilities for students in the Arcadia Unified School District.

YOU ARE INVITED TO AEF’S FIRESIDE CHAT WITH THE SUPERINTENDENT ON DECEMBER 5TH, 2017

Join us for holiday treats and conversation about the changing landscape of education and how you can help your student achieve the standards in today’s competitive world. Learn more about the funding challenges in our school district and how AEF plays an important role in bridging the gap. Dr. Vannasdall, Superintendent AUSD will be the keynote speaker, and Dr. Jeff Wilson, Christina Aragon, Asst. Superintendents AUSD, Kay Kinsler, School Board Member AUSD, and Allan Cheng, President AEF will be the guest speakers. There will be a Q & A session at the very end.
