About AEF

The Arcadia Educational Foundation (AEF) is a non-profit organization founded in 1981 in response to substantially reduced federal and state funding for California public schools. We strive to enrich educational programs and empower Arcadia Unified School District (AUSD) students through our dedication to enhancing the quality of teaching, resources, and programs.

AEF’s Purpose

The Arcadia Educational Foundation’s mission is to raise funds for the Arcadia Unified School District. The Foundation is administered by parent and community member Trustees who represent the interests of each of Arcadia’s 11 public schools.

What does AEF do?

AEF runs the annual Summer School Program and offers $25,000 in teacher grants annually. In 2021, the You & Me Grant was born through a generous $100,000 donation. This contribution allowed AEF to establish a grant fund to promote learning and community service for students. We also fund the district-wide phone and text communication system so school officials can efficiently communicate with parents. Moreover, due to state-wide budget cuts in recent years, AEF has worked to support our teacher positions.

Public board meetings occur every third Tuesday on even months of the year, from 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM. You may attend in person or virtually.
