Matthias Huber – Trustee

Growing up in a village in the Black Forest region of West Germany, I became the first person in my family to attend school past 9th grade, ultimately completing a Master's degree in Physics.

I am primarily engaged in building and operating a laboratory to replicate the conditions of fiber optic cable infrastructure within data centers. My work entails the investigation of the root causes of fiber breaks, along with comprehensive studies of the performance characteristics of newly developed fiber optic connectors tailored for applications in artificial intelligence and supercomputing.

My 2 children are both attending Arcadia schools, and I have volunteered with the school's PTSA for many years. In 2023 I began running with the goal of completing a marathon race. I also teach Sunday School at Evangelical Formosan Church of Arcadia.

As an AEF trustee, my objective is to create awareness in the Arcadia community regarding the importance of AEF for the school district and its students.
