As a resident of the San Gabriel Valley since 1981 I have a long-term interest in the development of the community. Currently, I am serving as the Vice President of the A.V.I.D. (Advancement via Individual Determination) Booster Club at Arcadia High School. A.V.I.D is a college preparatory program designed to increase student readiness for higher education. As an active supporter of higher education, I also serve on the United Agribusiness Business League Scholarship Committee supporting the efforts of agribusiness students wanting to achieve a college degree. I completed my formal education at the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona CA, and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree, Cum Laude.

Following a career in marketing and management, I established my own small agriculture-related business which I have operated over the last twenty-five years. As a Californian, I see the large influence of Agribusiness in our State and the impact on our families. With experience as a Board Member of the California Agribusiness Credit Union, as well as past Chairman of the United Agribusiness League, I hope to be able to make a meaningful contribution to the Arcadia Educational Foundation as a Board Member.
